Contrary to a statement from South Africa's Competition Tribunal released on Monday, the body's decision on the merger transaction between Growthpoint Properties Ltd (GRT) and Tresso Trading 119 (Pty) has not yet been handed down (as of 17 May 2005), it said.
On Monday the Tribunal erroneously announced it had unconditionally approved the merger, in which Growthpoint intends to acquire control over certain properties currently owned by Tresso.
