Sanlam will be placing some prime properties on the market soon following the restructuring of its property portfolio.

The properties are among several that are to be auctioned off by Aucor at their multi-property auction on May 25. Aucor will be selling a mix of industrial, commercial and residential properties.

"Sanlam are busy restructuring their portfolio and this is the perfect opportunity for investors," says James Dall of Aucor.

Among the properties is a building in Kempton Park on the corner of West Street and Oak Avenue, comprising 32 fully let flats, seven fully let line shops and 28 secure basement parking bays.

It is in a prime location in the city and has Woolworths as an anchor tenant.

A Zwartkop property along Beyers Naude Drive with conference and wedding venue potential is ideally situated close to Lanseria Airport with panoramic views. Situated on 10ha with three spacious homes and a 400m² workshop, there is scope for further residential units. The smallholding is close to the Cradle of Mankind.

House & Home is the anchor tenant on the corner of Voortrekker and Merriman streets in Vereeniging. High pedestrian and vehicle traffic coupled with a prime position in a bustling trading district make this a great investment. Miladys and Cash Crusaders are two of the other tenants.

Shoprite is part of the very strong tenant base in a fully let supermarket, shop and office complex on the corner of Main Reef and Duncan roads in Randfontein. It is situated in the central trading district with high pedestrian volume, a large parking area and a total gross lettable area of 5,051m².

A multi-use industrial complex with huge extension potential is for sale in Midrand. A previous German-owned modern pharmaceutical facility comprising 1,500m² of offices, 1,400m² of factories and 7,000m² available land close to the M1 highway.

The property is incredibly neat and very well laid out. In a high demand area this property has great development potential when taken into account that the total area is 21,346m².

Prime shops and offices in Edenvale are also going on sale. With the demand for retail space this is ideally located along a main arterial road and is 90% let.

Another multi-use industrial property is up for auction as a result of a deceased estate. Situated in Spartan on the main arterial to Johannesburg International Airport it is in a prime position due to the high demand for land in this area.
