There is a need for a medium sized shopping centre on the eastern side of the N1 in Midrand.

Midrand City boasts Shoprite as its anchor tenant and has the bulk to become popular as the area’s much-needed shopping centre .

The site is 1,8ha and allows for an expansion of a further 18000m² on the centre.

Midrand City is in need of an upgrade to unlock the site’s full potential.

The centre has an existing income of R6,5m a year and comprises of mixed retail and office space.

“Offices in Midrand have seen huge growth and demand over the past year, therefore the opportunities are unlimited,” Norman Raad of the Alliance Group said.

Midrand City is also close to where the new Gautrain station will be.

The auctioning of the shopping centre will be at 12pm.
