Amdec Property Developments' R75 million double level 5,000 m2 Lifestyle Centre in the Westlake development at the southern end of the Constantia Valley is now almost 100% let.
"In strategically targeting this region, we realised that a Lifestyle Centre providing health, fitness, beauty, and entertainment services would be perfect for the clientele here," said Amdec's CEO, James Wilson.
Six restaurants have taken up tenancy and five of these are already open. These are: Amici Italian Restaurant, The Cape Fish Company, Upstairs Asian Fusion, Denzils Sports Bar and Green Beans, a health deli. The Famous Butcher’s Grill will be opening in February. Most of the restaurants will have indoor and outdoor seating for approximately 100 people.
Health, fitness and beauty specialists at Westlake Lifestyle Centre include Cycle Lab, the renowned cycle retailer, the Academy of Physical Arts, specialists in martial arts and dance training, the Body Lifestyle, a specialist slimming clinic, Platinum Fresh Produce, an exclusive fresh produce provider, Sagoi Hair salon and Brite Smile dental practice.
Other tenants are the Sunflower Fund, a non-governmental, non-profit bone marrow registry, Little Works, designers and producers of wedding and personalised invitations, and Sotheby’s International Realty, providing an upmarket real estate solution to the needs of southern suburbs property buyers and sellers.
Wilson anticipates that the Westlake Lifestyle Centre will become a prime meeting point and social venue for Southern Suburbs residents seeking health, fitness, beauty, lifestyle and entertainment outlets.
