Eighteen commercial properties with high investor appeal are to be auctioned this coming Monday November 14 at a multiple auction to be held by the recently launched Pam Golding Commercial Auctions, a member of the Pam Golding Property group.

Property-Housing-ResidentialRegistration is from 11am and the auction takes place at 12 noon, in the conference centre at the Southern Sun Hotel in Main Road, Newlands.

The properties comprise a cross-section of accommodation including small and medium sized office, retail and light industrial properties as well as a commercial farm, and ranging in size from a 90sqm executive office suite to an income generating wine farm of 41 hectares. The properties, which will be displayed on audio visual presentations before and during the auction, are well situated in the Western Cape in the Cape Town metropolitan areas, on the West Coast and in the Boland & Overberg region.

MD of Pam Golding Commercial Auctions, Paddy Smuts, says some of the properties are tenanted, while others are partly let, providing opportunities for owner occupier investors. "The 18 lots which are on auction - all with very realistic reserve prices - are ideal for those with small and medium investment portfolios, seeking investment opportunities from around R250 000. Since launching this new auction division last month (October), we have been inundated with enquiries from both sellers and buyers, and this is just the first batch of properties on offer in what will become at least a monthly event," he says.

"Our focus is on ensuring that we acquire properties for auction which will have high appeal for the investor. In the past few years commercial property has come into its own as a lucrative investment, a factor which is particularly evident in today's trading conditions. Interested buyers have access to legal and financial experts who will be on hand at the auction to facilitate the transactions," adds Smuts.

The trend towards multiple auctions, whereby a number of properties are auctioned off at a central, convenient venue, is proving increasingly successful and popular among both sellers and buyers, as the selling process is rapid, and generates realistic and market related prices.

Prior viewing of the properties on auction may be arranged and live remote bidding through one of Pam Golding Commercial Auction's agents will be available for out of town buyers.

Enquiries should be directed to Geoff Stroebel, business development manager of Pam Golding Commercial, on 021 4177878 or 083 460 1281.
