The purpose of the exhibitions is to showcase materials, projects, systems, designs and ideas relating to the field of housing delivery.

The exhibitions include:

- An extensive range of student models and drawings focusing on the design and development of sustainable human settlements. This exhibition comprises the work of students from the University of Pretoria and the Tshwane University of Technology. The work will be distributed throughout the venues of the Conference Centre at the University of Pretoria.
- Product exhibitions where manufacturers showcase products of relevance to the field of housing delivery. This will include a manufacturer demonstrating the building of a housing unit in the 3 days of the conference!
- Exhibition stands of the National and Gauteng Departments of housing.
- “Tcinese Architecture in the World. Milestones and Protagonists.” This is an extremely extensive exhibition designed for outdoor display showcasing some of the most recently influential architects of the Canton Tichino, the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland.
- The South African Institute of Steel Construction exhibition of the winners of a recent national competition for residential design showcasing the use of steel in a truly South African manner.
- The Institute of Landscape Architecture of South Africa and the South African Institute of Architecture exhibition of their recently awarded merit awards. These are awarded to landscape architectural and architectural projects of outstanding quality.
