Research: ‘Gaining a better understanding of the property environment’©

Introduction & Objective:

Research is a complementary component of SAPOA Online and seeks to address the needs of stakeholders and target markets that partner and use this property portal site. In order to best serve the industry, we strive to continuously create meaningful collaborative initiatives with individuals and companies involved in the commercial and industrial property market, both locally and abroad.

We see those requiring research and information as comprising the following:

  • Property Owners/Investors
  • Brokers
  • Tenants/space users
  • Asset Managers
  • Property Managers
  • Land Developers
  • Property Developers

Since this client base is driven to the site in order to maximize the synergistic relationships that occur in the property business, there are both overlapping and unique market intelligence requirements. The information or intelligence that these stakeholders require can, interalia, be broadly defined as follows:

  • Location information & micro market information
  • Property/Market performance indicators
  • Demographic data and trends
  • Economic sector trends and forecasts
  • Macro economic analysis
  • International global trends and practices
  • General – themes & topical issues locally and abroad

Our approach in striving to meet these fairly diverse intelligence requirements is grounded in a packaged product-offering framework that is continuously being developed and refined internally by E-Prop Research in association with certain partners. The pillars of this product model are presently structured online into five primary areas or links:

  • Macro Environment
  • Sector Environment
  • Property Indicators
  • Local markets – regional-micro market analysis
  • Global/International Environment
  • Trends, themes and general interest

For each section we seek to provide and develop market commentary in general as well as explore the implications for the property market more specifically. In general, our regular e-mail newsletters will highlight new material/articles reflected in the various sections.

By clicking on each section you will find an overview underpinning the rationale behind each of these as well as the type of information and data that we will cover.
