Hein Smit, executive director of Marriott Property Services, which has been appointed as leasing and project coordinator says the centre will have a gross lettable area of 10 500 m2 and 662 parking bays.
Woolworths has taken 2 800 m2 of space and a Pick ‘n Pay Family Store will occupy 2 200 m2.
There will also be a restaurant node and wine emporium overlooking the winelands, the Klein De Zalze Golf Estate’s golf course and mountains.
By the time the shopping centre is constructed a BMW dealership and a Shell service station will have been established in the same area.
Marriott has also been appointed to market a R25-million, two-storey 4 000 m2 office block which has been proposed by a private developer on a site next to the new shopping centre
