NORTHLANDS Projects is building another 20 showrooms at Northlands Deco Park, a retail and warehousing development.
Darin d'Oliveira, a director of Northlands Projects, says Northlands Deco Park, in North Riding, north of Johannesburg, was started two years ago after On The Tiles approached his company for premises.
"We decided to start Deco Park, dedicated to retailing and warehousing," says d'Oliveira. The total area of the park is 100000m².
"The idea is that you can choose your tiles, shower doors anything you require in the building industry," d'Oliveira says.
The park has about 28 tenants, including Sembel-It Kitchens, Audio Visual Systems, Calypso Lighting, Kambali Carpets and Furniture, Topline Kitchens and Accessories, and Airconditioning Superstore.
D'Oliveira says the showrooms will be completed by November.
