Scott Thorburn appointed General Manager for Redefine’s inland properties portfolio

Redefine has appointed Scott Thorburn as General Manager for the company’s inland property portfolio.


In his new role Thorburn will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the property management operations of Redefine’s inland region.

Thorburn, who has held managerial and directorship positions at a number of listed and unlisted property development and real estate companies in South Africa, brings with him vast knowledge and experience honed through a career that spans more than 25 years in the industry.

Andrew König, CEO of Redefine Properties says, “The appointment completes the realignment of our staffing structures to support our business activities, bolsters our property management skills and lends Redefine the agility to meet the challenges in a competitive and demanding sector.

The appointment further reflects our commitment to ensuring all levels of our management are led by seasoned professionals.”

A Wits University graduate, Thorburn holds a B Com degree from the institution, where he also played club rugby.
