NEW, carefully planned developments will play an increasingly important part in Spearhead Property Holdings' coming years, says the chief executive officer, Mike Flax. "Not only will Cape projects grow in size, they will increase in sophistication - and we intend to step up the pace of our development in both greenfields and redevelopment projects. "At the moment, right across the Cape, property development is pushing ahead - and we have no intention of being left behind." To keep Spearhead's developments on track, the company has appointed Anthony Wolpert as development manager. Wolpert, 35, comes to Spearhead from Catalyst Property Finance. He has a BSc Building Science degree and is a qualified chartered accountant - a combination of qualifications which is ideal for his new position, says Flax. Flax said Wolpert could find himself involved with more than R100 million worth of new development before the end of this year.
