Texton Property Fund announces its intention to acquire various properties for R228.87m.

Texton Property Fund‚ formerly Vunani Property Investment Fund‚ announced on Friday its intention to acquire various properties for R228.87m.

The proposed transactions involved the acquisition of the entire issued share capital and claims of Discus House‚ Imperial Commercial Properties‚ Investage and Sable Place‚ Texton said.

The effective date of the proposed transactions will be July 1 2014. The counter closed unchanged at R9.89 per share on Friday from a record of R11.50 reached in May last year.
