Listed hotels group City Lodge has not imposed any blocks on hotel accommodation in Gauteng or anywhere else in the country due to the official mourning period and upcoming funeral of former president Nelson Mandela.The company operates the Courtyard Hotel‚ City Lodge Hotel‚ Town Lodge and Road Lodge brands. It said on Monday that room availability would not be affected and no blocks had been imposed in Gauteng or anywhere else.
The company was reacting to media reports at the weekend and on Monday that there was a block on all hotel accommodation in Gauteng.
