Liquidation - Shopping Centre on Tender in Uitenhage

Duly instructed by the Joint Liquidators in the matter, Sanek, Aucor South will submit to tender a regional shopping centre situated in Uitenhage, following the liquidation of Evening Flame Trading 449 (Pty) Ltd.

Kwanobuhle Shopping CentreThe shopping centre situated in Uitenhage, well known for hosting the Volkswagen factory, one of the biggest car factories on the African continent, is situated a few kilometres from Port Elizabeth.

The Shopping centre, named the Kwanobuhle Shopping Centre, has a GLA of 15,500 m² and is a popular destination for the surrounding community and features numerous national tenants such as Shoprite and Cashbuild, as well as a host of smaller tenants who are complementary to the centre . The centre is located at Matanzima and Bereng Roads, Kwanobuhle, Uitenhage.

Comments Martin Dibowitz of Aucor, ''The property is approximately 75% tenanted and is therefore able to provide an immediate income generating opportunity. As a popular centre for the local community, it boasts high levels of traffic and as such we have received much interest from potential buyers.''

The property, built in 2010, was originally designed for 47 retail shops and parking for over 500 vehicles. It also features a 'drop off and go' point.

The tender will close on Tuesday 13 August 2013 at 17h00.
