Bloemfontein to host first ever online property auction for AucorFollowing the highly successful online mining auction which Aucor held earlier this year, the group anticipate this auction to be a resounding success.

Two of the properties being offering, a commercial property situated in Ribblesdale and another in Arboretum, have already generated much interest.

Bidding for both properties will begin on Monday 22 April and close on Thursday 25 April.

The first property, situated at 87 Aliwal Street in Arboretum, spans over 2,508m² occupying nearly half a block. Arboretum is an established suburb situated towards the north of Bloemfontein and in-between the CBD and the charming up-market suburb of Waverley with its tree-lined streets and rich historic heritage. Originally built for residential purposes, this spacious property was converted to office space. There are two buildings on the property, a main building of 355m² and a second building of 85m². The main building comprises 8 offices or rooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. The second smaller building is made up of 2 offices or rooms, 1 bathroom and a kitchen.

The second commercial property being offered is a sectionalised farm of 24 hectares, situated 8km north of the Bloemfontein CBD on Ribblesdale road. The property consists of a 3 bedroom house, 3 workshops and a cellular phone tower. In addition, the property is being sold with approximately 2 million m² of gravel, offering an excellent income opportunity as it can be made into a product such as G4 crushed gravel which is primarily used in road construction. The cellular phone tower also generates an income from MTN.

The three bedroom house on the property features 2.5 bathrooms, kitchen with scullery, lounge, dining room, study, lapa with braai area and a large garden with a large swimming pool. The property is easily accessible off the N1 highway and close to the Bloemfontein CBD and airport, as well as Northridge shopping mall, Bayswater Village and Bloemfontein Primary School.
