Mahwelereng Shopping Centre opened on Wednesday, meeting the growing needs of local consumers by introducing the refreshing convenience of one-stop shopping to this growing Limpopo town.

Mahwelereng Shopping Centre is developed by Gerald and Pieter Dros of Olympic Park. Retail Network Services crafted its focused retail mix to suit the shopping centre's unique footprint. The 12,986sqm shopping centre opened fully let with a selection of 33 retailers.

"With nearly 50,000 households in the trade area, and a population of more than 280,000, Mahwelereng Shopping Centre will be an important part of everyday life for this community."

Shoprite will anchor the retail centre in a large 3,565sqm store and shoppers can also get groceries from Roots at Mahwelereng Shopping Centre.

These popular retailers lead an impressive array of shopping choices, starting with a formidable fashion line-up from Studio 88, Jet, Edgars Active, Pep, Ackermans, Rage, Pallino Italiano and The Fashion People.
