Johnnic Entertainment will - as part of a corporate realignment
programme - move from its current separate premises in Johannesburg
into the Johnnic Publishing Building in Biermann Avenue, Rosebank.
This building will now become Johnnic Communications House.
Company chairman Mashudu Ramano said the move, to be completed in
May, would result in savings to the group of several million rand a
year, and would unlock new synergies between the group's business
units.
Johnnic's digital operations will remain in Sturdee Avenue, Rosebank,
as the Biermann Avenue building will now be fully occupied.
Ramano said that the process of re-aligning the group's many
businesses had been ongoing for some time.
"Johncom will soon be ideally positioned to derive maximum benefit
from its combined and rationalised platforms comprising finance,
human resources, IT, production and distribution," he said.
