SEEFF Property Services has announced the opening of several new offices.

In the Western Cape they are at Franschhoek and Worcester, as well as a second office in Stellenbosch.

The group's total number of offices in southern African now stands at 116, which does not include 22 rental licences.

Seeff has the following divisions: residential, projects/developments, commercial/industrial, agricultural, furnished/unfurnished rental, new business and international.

The Franschhoek office will open on April 1. The Worcester office opened in January and Stellenbosch's second office in February.

The licensee of Seeff Hout Bay and Llandudno, Clive Hingston, acquired the licences for Seeff False Bay Projects and Cape Town South-Eastern Suburbs Residential on March 1.

In the rest of the country, Port Shepstone, Kimberley and KwaZulu-Natal Commercial offices opened on March 1, East London will open on April 1 and Sedgefield on August 1.

Seeff now has 43 offices in the Western Cape, 15 on the Garden Route and Eastern Cape, 26 in Gauteng, 17 in KwaZulu-Natal, five in Mpumalanga, three in the Free State, three in North-West, two in Limpopo, two in the Northern Cape, two in Namibia and one in Harare.

New business development manager Mattie Rousseau said the group's intention in May last year had been to have 20 more offices open by this May, but had already reached that figure early this year.

She confirmed that the group was looking at a number of licence applications, of which several are in the Western Cape.
