Engineering and construction group WBO-Wilson Bayly Holmes-Ovcon Ltd (WBHO) said on Tuesday it was awaiting the Competition Commission's response to information and documentation submitted by the group.

It said it has been co-operating with the Competition Commission in relation to the Commission's Invitation to Firms in the Construction Industry to Engage in Settlement of Contraventions of the Competition Act, issued on 1 February 2011.

"Pursuant to the invitation, WBHO has submitted extensive documentation and information to the Commission and will continue to co-operate with the Commission in this regard.

"WBHO is awaiting the Commission's response to the information and documentation that has been submitted by WBHO, and will update shareholders in this regard as soon as WBHO is in a position to indicate any potential liability that may arise as a consequence of the information provided to the Commission," the group added.
