Auction Alliance will bring two adjacent wine farms on the renowned Stellenbosch wine-route to auction on April 1.

Property-Housing-ResidentialThe farms are situated on Bottelary Road just outside Stellenbosch, an area well known for its excellent terroir and quality wines. Bottelary Road is home to a number of recognized wine farms including the Devonvale Golf and Wine Estate and Bellevue Wine Estate.

Farm 1 Portion 3 extends over 22,2569ha of which 12,8ha are under vine, including Malbec, Pinotage, Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz.

The farm has excellent redevelopment potential, with future possibilities to develop a conference centre, guest lodge and/or equestrian facility. The farm also contains a large dam with beautiful views.

Farm 2 Portion 4 extends over 37,3453ha of which 32,16ha are under vine, including Pinotage, Petit Verdot and Sauvignon Blanc. Grapes from these farms, particularly the Pinotage and Petit Verdot, have contributed towards the numerous awards won by Bellevue Wine Estate.

The owner of the farms is interested in continuing to manage the farms on behalf of the new owners and would like to purchase the grapes, ensuring a good market for the grapes and sparing the new owners management of the vineyards.

Comments Albie Loubser of Auction Alliance, “Both properties are prominently along the world-renowned Stellenbosch Wine Route, an area known for its spectacular views and quality wines.   The position of both, coupled with their development potential, size and vine selection make them highly sought after investment opportunities”.

The auction takes place on site at 11am.
