In the face of rising electricity tariffs and the mid-term national power supply shortage, Cape Town’s 6th meeting of the Energy Efficiency Forum for Commercial Buildings will be held on 29th March 2011
The agenda, as per usual, offers practical case studies and updates on policy issues, research, training, useful tools and initiatives to promote energy efficiency. The Forum on the 29th includes: ‘Green Leasing’ for tenanted buildings; new ISO standards and the national ‘Industrial Energy Efficiency’ support programme; the City of Cape Town’s annual tariff increase, own building retrofits and energy futures research; and the latest on Eskom’s funding models.

Owners and managers of commercial buildings are encouraged to attend. For more information and to register, they can go to www.capetown.gov.za/EnergyForum or contact Steven Marks from the City of Cape Town at This email address is being protected from spambots.
