Nedbank Corporate Property Finance has been voted as the leader in the commercial property finance category in the Price Waterhouse Coopers peer review of the banking industry in South Africa

Frank Berkeley

The survey, entitled ‘Strategic and Emerging Issues in South African Banking’ was based on interviews of CEO’s and senior executives of 23 banks, 12 of whom are foreign-owned and 11 of whom are domestically-owned.  Interviewees were asked to rank their top three banks in each of the 23 categories, in terms of their success – specifically performance, presence and momentum.

Says Frank Berkeley, managing executive of Nedbank Corporate Property Finance, “We are delighted to have been recognised by our peers as being the leader in this category.  This further strengthens our belief that our strategy of sustainable growth has been the correct one to adopt in this market and we remain confident that we will continue to build on this strategy in the future.”
