Two shops and a three-bedroom flat in a building on Main Road, Rosettenville, with Something Fishy and the Rosettenville Pawnshop as tenants, attracted a winning bid of R1,2m.

Gross rental, including the flat, is R260000 a year.

Development land measuring 16022m² in Pomona Estates, Kempton Park, was sold and confirmed for R4,9m. Another Rosettenville property on auction was a three-storey building with gross lettable area of 1500m² on Mabel Street.

Capitec Bank occupies 360m² on the ground floor. The first and second floors are vacant. The building received a top bid of R900000.

There was little demand for a retail centre in Rosettenville. The two-storey building, with a basement, on Albert Street, has a lettable area of 2082m²

After attaining a top bid of R1,25m it was withdrawn. Eight new industrial units, four with tenants and four vacant, in Midrand fetched a total price of R6,6m. The semidetached mini-units, with a gross lettable area of 272m² to 611m² each, is on an 8470m² stand.

A retail showroom with offices and warehouse and a lettable area of 1375m² on Menton Road, Auckland Park, fetched R5,5m. Four new industrial units used for light industrial manufacturing and mini-warehousing on Koornhoof Road, Meadowdale, came under the hammer.

The complex, with a gross lettable area of 2050m² on a 4725m² erf, attracted a winning bid of R7,5m.

A lodge on 11ha with a 280m² main dwelling, three cottages and chapel at Zwartkop was offered as a going concern. The river-front property sold for R4,6m.
