In this case Ginsberg decided that instead of waiting for doors to open she would open them herself – so she started her own business, Natalie Ginsberg Property Valuations.
Now as a 26-year old she is one of the youngest valuers to open her own valuation business and in the relatively short time she has established Natalie Ginsberg Property Valuations she has attracted a number of quality clients and has impressed with her business acumen and industry know-how.
Ginsberg has a BSc (Hons) in Property Studies (UCT) and is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. Involved in property valuations since 2008, she has attended to valuations on residential, premium residential, commercial, industrial and specialised properties. Top of her university class in Property Valuations, Property Law and for her thesis, she was awarded cum laude.
Says Ginsberg, “I learned a lot at Alliance and probably started my business sooner than I planned, but I am delighted to be my own boss.
“My valuations team has vast experience working for attorneys, private clients, liquidators, various trusts and banks.
Personally, my role entails running the backend and front end of the business, mentoring candidate valuers, auditing all reports which come through the business and compiling property valuation reports for commercial and residential properties.”
Ginsberg and her team of valuers are all registered with the South African Council of Property Valuer Professionals and the South African Institute of Valuers. They value both immovable and movable property and provide an added service by compiling due diligence packs for estate agents/brokers.
A client, the CEO of Julius Buchinsky Auctioneers, Leno de Villiers says: “I am highly impressed with Natalie’s knowledge and professionalism and we are more than happy to use her services and to recommend her whenever possible.”
