Commercial property management company Broll Property Group has sold a portfolio of mainly local shopping centres to JSE-listed Fairvest Property Holdings Limited for R326 million.

The Northern Industrial Suburbs, a cluster of Springfield Park, Riverhorse Valley, Briardene and Mount Edgecombe areas is fast emerging as an industrial hotspot in Durban. The area is showing tremendous growth potential in terms of industrial property as most of the South Durban Basin is oversaturated with no new land available for development. 

Given the green leafy suburb label associated with Westville one may not consider it a node for commercial property, well that’s just not true.
