After graduating from the University of Pretoria in 1989, Org started his career as an information technology professional & management consultant with Accenture (then Andersen Consulting) and 6 years thereafter moved to Aegis Insurance in an IT role.

When Aegis was bought over by Guardian National Insurance in 1998 he saw the gap to start a staffing and recruitment business for the information technology industry. Abacus Recruitment's staffing operations was sold to JSE Listed EOH in 2010. Around 2008, Org transformed his then "side line business started in 2004" and passion for property into a full time business, with Abacus DIVISIONS' broking business being born.

Since Org can remember he had a serious passion for property. In fact the meaning of his name (ge-ORG-e) is "farmer" or "tiller of soil" i.e. he who turns the soil over!

His love for Information Technology is today just as strong as it was in the beginning years and its not uncommon to find him programming somewhere in the middle of the night when he get the time or the urge !

He is an entrepreneur at heart with strong interests and a portfolio in commercial property. He also has interest in a leisure development @ the Vaal River near Villiers in the Free State.
