The National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) has deregistered seventeen (17) contractors and builders from its database of approved homebuilders following the outcome of the disciplinary hearing processes.

The National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) is an agency of the National Human Settlements Department tasked with the responsibility to provide protection in terms of the Housing Consumers Protection Measures Act (Act No.95 of 1998).

Developer fined R1.6m for non-compliance

The National Home Builders Registration Council’s (NHBRC) Disciplinary Committee has imposed a fine of R1.6 million on a developer after failing to enrol residential units which were under construction at Elarduspark in Gauteng.
