The Department of Transport and Public Works (DTPW) has completed the construction of the new District Six Community Health Centre.

This week, 55 small Western Cape construction business owners began the 10-month Department of Transport and Public Works (DTPW) Contractor Development Programme (CDP) training.

An award-winning R152 million Department of Transport and Public Works (DTPW) project to build a regional office at Karl Bremer Hospital in Bellville reached practical completion today (12 July 2017).

Today (27 July 2016), the Western Cape Minister of Transport and Public Works, Donald Grant, and Western Cape Minister of Health, Dr Nomafrench Mbombo, participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the Khayelitsha Eastern Substructure Office.

The Department of Transport and Public Works has been recognised by the Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA) for its work on a building currently under construction for the Department of Health.

The brand new Khayelitsha Shared Services Centre, commissioned by the Department of Transport and Public Works for the provincial departments of agriculture, education, social development and health, is expected to be fully occupied by the end of May.
