Repo rate unchanged at 6.5%

The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) has unanimously decided to keep the repurchase rate unchanged at 6.5% per annum.

CPI inflation rises to 5% in July 2015

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose to 5% in July 2015, Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) said on Wednesday.
