The Green Building Council South Africa (GBCSA) has awarded a 4-star Green Star Sustainable Precincts certification – the first in Africa – to a project that will be built by historic Cape Town development company, Garden Cities NPC (RF), as a further phase of its flagship Cape West Coast suburb, Sunningdale.

On Tuesday the 8th of May the GBCSA held a launch event at their new Johannesburg offices, Rosebank Corner, 191 Jan Smuts Avenue.

South Africa’s top rated Green Star buildings and top green building professionals were announced at the Green Building Convention, held at Century City Conference Centre in Cape Town this past week.

As it enters its 10th year in operation, The Green Building Council South Africa (GBCSA) has reached the remarkable milestone of 250 green building certifications in Africa.

Five Star Green Rating Awarded To Assetmatrix/Gimco Park Lane Building.
