The Ministry of Human Settlements, Water and Sanitation has clarified its position on several media reports relating to the appointment of Mo Shaik and Advocate Menzi Simelane as special advisors. 

Pretoria - The Institute of Estate Agents of SA has agreed to pay an administrative penalty of R522 400 for indirectly fixing the fees of estate agents in terms of a consent order agreement confirmed by the competition tribunal yesterday.

Consumers will be the winners after the Competition Commission's decision on Friday to prosecute the Institute of Estate Agents for price-fixing and contravening the Competition Act
