Thavhani Mall opens to much fanfare

Thavhani Mall in Thohoyandou, Limpopo, has opened its doors to an overwhelming public welcome.

With a 21% increase in shopper numbers on Black Friday, continuous growth in trade throughout the year, an improved shopping experience and all the added festive shopping services anyone could want, Mall of the North is expecting a bumper Christmas season.

The first fully enclosed, double-storey regional mall in the bustling town of Thohoyandou, Limpopo, is set to introduce a wide range of new retailers to its region when it opens on 24 August 2017.

SA sees a return to stable rental growth

According to the quarterly PayProp Rental Index, the average South African rental for Q2 2016 was R6 570.50, a 6.4% increase from the same period in 2015.

The highly-anticipated R1 billion Thavhani Mall at Thavhani City in Thohoyandou will officially open on 24 August 2017, bringing world-class shopping to this bustling Limpopo town.

Over one million people shopped at Mall of the North in December 2015, breaking all previous records at the mall.

Following the success of the Mahwelereng Shopping Centre, its first project with Pretoria-based GMI Property Group in Limpopo, Retail Network Services (RNS) is now working with the group on two new rural mall projects in the province totalling R300 million.
