At a glittering event held at the Polo Room, Inanda Club last night, the Women’s Property Network (WPN) celebrated the 2017 South African Women in Property Awards.
Women continue to make inroads into the traditionally male-dominated South African property industry. Sandi Mbutuma, Women’s Property Network (WPN) Chairperson, acknowledges the changing face of the sector, with many women attaining prominent leadership positions in property companies and industry bodies.
The Women’s Property Network (WPN) was established in early 2000 to create a forum for women in a predominantly male industry to join together to exchange information, develop business contacts and enhance professional success.
Sandton’s posh Inanda Club, which sold a third of its land (8ha) to Investec for R72,5m earlier this year for a new housing estate, is set to become one of Gauteng’s most exclusive residential addresses.
