ACS defends takeover bid for Hochtief

ACS Group defended its takeover plan for Hochtief after reports that its German rival was unhappy with the bid.

Big rise in Concor earnings

Concor has reported a 56% rise in its headline earnings per share for the year to end-June 2005 to 226.7 cents from a re-stated 145.4 cents a year earlier

Concor trebles earnings for half year.

Concor has trebled earnings for the six months to the end of December, with attributable earnings swelling from R3.1m to R9.6m.
