Equites Property Fund Limited (“Equites”) has concluded heads of agreement with Africa’s largest fast-moving consumer goods retail operation, Shoprite Holdings Limited (“Shoprite”), to establish a strategic joint venture which will facilitate the unlocking of significant value for both parties.

Equites Property Fund Limited (Equites) today announced an agreement with leading JSE-listed retailer Pepkor, to develop a 122 734 square metre logistics warehouse facility in Hammarsdale, KwaZulu Natal.

South African REITs (real estate investment trusts) have once again excelled among the country’s top companies earning the most wealth and value for shareholders.

In order of most empowered, the REITs are: Arrowhead Properties, Redefine Properties, Growthpoint Properties, Equites Property Fund, and Rebosis Property fund.

Fairvest Property Holdings, a real estate investment trust with a market cap of R2 billion, has been approved for a secondary listing on A2X Markets.

Equites Property Fund to list on A2X

Equites Property Fund Limited has been approved for a secondary listing on A2X Markets and its shares will be available for trade on A2X from 1 July 2019.

Equites Property Fund Limited today announced growth of 11.8% in its distribution per share for the year ended 28 February 2019 to 138.43 cents, along with robust growth in the NAV per share of 10.2% to R16.92.

Equites Property Fund Limited today announced growth of 11.7% in its distribution per share for the six months ended 31 August 2018 to 68.12 cents, as well as a 49% growth in the fair value of its property portfolio over the corresponding period in August 2017, from R6.8 billion to R10.1 billion.
