The Eastern Cape Department of Human Settlements has set aside R42 million to help home loan defaulters in Motherwell and Uitenhage in the Nelson Mandela Metro.

The Institute of Estate Agents of SA (IEASA) Western Cape has been actively involved in educating the public and estate agents about the Finance Linked Individual Subsidy Programme (FLISP), a home loan subsidy for those whose gross combined household income was between R3501 to R15 000 at the time of the home loan approval.

Western Cape provincial government is due to embark on an ambitious multimillion-rand construction project of a mixed-use neighbourhood.

Government and state-owned companies (SOCs) is set to spend R865.4 billion on public sector infrastructure, over the course of the next three years.

Government hands over land for housing

Transport and Human Settlements Ministers have signed an agreement to transfer 72 hectares of land from South African National Road Agency Limited (SANRAL) to the Housing Development Agency (HDA).

The Gauteng Human Settlements Department will officially launch the Mega Housing Projects, which will see an unprecedented radical transformation in housing and spatial planning in the province.

Sea Kay settles with the NHFC
