Property group SA Corporate Real Estate Fund has bought the Ridge Shopping Centre for R42.5 million from Capital Property Fund, it said on Monday.

A buoyant retail property market helped listed property loan stock company Resilient Property Income Fund's distribution growth soar 19,87% to 63,20c for the year to December.

The injection of a substantial property portfolio into listed property unit trust Capital Property Fund last year is paying off with the fund announcing an 11,6% increase in its distributions for the six months ended June.

Two of the three listed property funds that posted financial results last week reported increases in their distributions of more than 10%.
