A dredging programme at Maputo harbour in Mozambique has been completed ahead of schedule, enabling the port to accommodate larger ships and allowing increased productivity.

Port Maputo, the recently concessioned harbour in the Mozambican capital, has moved a step closer to being an effective competitor to Durban.
