Cape Town – JSE listed Spear REIT Limited (SEA:SJ) on Thursday morning announced the appointment of Mr. Cliff Toerien as Chief Operating Officer. Cliff has in excess of 27 years experience in the listed and non-listed real estate sector with a strong focus on fund, portfolio and operations management.
Cliff will have oversight of all property and portfolio management functions within the business as well as serve as a member of the Spear Executive Committee.
Spear is the only regionally specialised REIT listed on the JSE with a diversified property portfolio of Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Hospitality and Residential assets in excess of 370 000m2 situated in the Western Cape valued at R 3bn with a market capitalisation of R 1,6bn.
