Knight Frank recently held an Africa conference at Asara Hotel in Stellenbosch. This was a platform to promote business between their Africa offices and to launch Knight Frank Commercial in South Africa.

The Business Beyond Borders conference was held with a view to maximising growth in the property industry and liaison amongst Knight Frank’s Kenya, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Uganda, Nigeria, Botswana, Tanzania and South African representatives – the company is in all these countries.

Susan Turner, director of the newly formed Knight Frank Commercial division, see the African property market as having great potential and believe that they are well placed with qualified and experienced property professionals to deal with marketing, valuation and management of commercial, agricultural and residential real estate throughout Africa.

Knight Frank South Africa currently have offices in Cape Town and Durban and are due to open in Gauteng within the next six months. Anne Porter Properties have had an association with Knight Frank for several years and will work closely with Knight Frank South Africa who will be represented in Cape Town by Susan Turner and David White, and in Durban by Martin Fitchet. They are all qualified to offer property valuation and advisory services, commercial broking and property management.
