Insolvencies still up but liquidations down

The total number of liquidations recorded for the first two months of 2010 decreased by 19,2% (from 661 to 534) compared with the first two months of 2009. The total number of liquidations recorded for February 2010 decreased by 16,1% (from 391 to 328) compared with February 2009.

The total number of insolvencies recorded for the three months ended January 2010 increased by 5,0% (from 966 to 1 014) compared with the three months ended January 2009. The estimated number of insolvencies recorded for January 2010 increased by 7,3% (from 165 to 177) compared with January 2009.
